Safety - The Firework Code


1.Always buy fireworks marked BS7114
2.Keep fireworks in a closed box
3.Follow the specific instructions on each firework
4.Light each firework at arm’s length with a taper/portfire never with a naked flame
5.Stand well back-check the distance advised on each firework
6.Never go back to a lit firework
7.Never put fireworks in your pocket
8.Never throw fireworks
9.Always light sparklers one at a time and wear gloves to hold them
10.Never give sparklers to a child under five
11.Keep your pets indoors
